Applying a Blueprint adds available reservations to dates on your Timeline. These reservation slots are bookable by your internal team, but to allow guests to book these dates online, release reservation availability to the public.
To ensure your Availability is bookable online:
- Switch the Availability toggle on.
- Set the Availability release date range.
- Set the Availability cut-off.
- Set the Experience visibility.
Turning all Availability on or off
This controls the Availability for all offerings. Disabling Availability will hide all Experiences and Events from your business page and show guests that "Reservations are unavailable."
To turn Availability on or off:
- From the Control Panel tab, click Settings.
- Switch the Availability toggle on or off.
Releasing availability for guests to book online
Reservations up until the date selected will be visible and bookable by your guests online. If a release date is set beyond the dates of an applied Blueprint, no availability will show to your guests for those dates. Remember to apply the Blueprint far enough into the future.
To release availability for guests to book online:
- From the Control Panel tab, click Settings.
- Click Edit availability dates.
- Click a date in the future, then click Update availability.
Scheduling releases
Tock can automatically schedule the release of availability. First, apply your Blueprint up to or beyond the date you plan on releasing availability.
To schedule releases:
- From the Control Panel tab, click Settings.
- Click Add release.
- Click a date and time to release new reservations, as well as the date you'd like to open reservations until.
- Click Preview release to review settings.
- Click Schedule release.
Setting an Availability cutoff time
The Availability cutoff time stops bookings from being made relative to the day and time of the booking. Cutoffs can be set for all Experiences by using the default setting, or within the individual Experience.
There are two types of cutoff options:
- Based on an amount of time prior to the reservation time - Choose a time between 10 minutes or up to 6 hours before the reservation time.
- Based on the number of days and time of day prior to the reservation time - Choose a time between same day cutoff or up to five weeks before the reservation time.
To set up a default cutoff:
- From the Control Panel tab, click Settings.
- Scroll to the Availability cutoff section.
- Click the cutoff time.
- Click Save.
To set up an Experience-level cutoff:
- From the Control Panel tab, click Experiences, then select an experience.
- From the General Information tab within the Experience, scroll to the Experience availability cutoff section.
- Click the cutoff time.
- Click Save.
Enabling Experience visibility
Experiences must have visibility enabled for guests to book.
To enable Experience visibility:
- From the Control Panel tab, click Experiences.
- Click the Experience and click Visibility and Access.
- Click the Experience visibility toggle on.
- Click Save.
View configuring visibility and access to set up different types of visibility and access per Experience.
