Note: This feature is only supported for businesses using Availability Planning reservation management. Edits made directly on Timeline will be overwritten when publishing a Schedule. After publishing a Schedule, remake Timeline edits, as needed.
Adjusting pacing
The pacing feature allows you to control the flow of guests that book online and in-house. Adjust daily pacing from your Timeline.
Pacing is enabled for each service within the Schedule. For more information, view the Configuring Pacing article.
To adjust pacing on Timeline
- From the Reservations tab, click Timeline.
- Click the pencil icon.
- Click Adjust Pacing.
- Update the menu on the left, as needed.
- Click Apply changes.
Understanding the pacing menu
If experiences are excluded from global pacing, they will be displayed in a list. Click here to learn more about excluding experiences from pacing.
Pacing Legend
- Global - Total in-house and online covers that can start per 15 minutes.
- Online - Total online covers that can start per 15 minutes.
- Reset - Use this to reset pacing to match the Availability Planning Schedule.
- Close Online - Use this to change online pacing to ‘0’ for all times that day.
