Note: This feature is only supported for businesses using Availability Planning reservation management. Edits made directly on Timeline will be overwritten when publishing a Schedule.  After publishing a Schedule, remake Timeline edits, as needed. 

Adjusting pacing

The pacing feature allows you to control the flow of guests that book online and in-house. Adjust daily pacing from your Timeline. 

Pacing is enabled for each service within the Schedule. For more information, view the Configuring Pacing article.

To adjust pacing on Timeline 

  1. From the Reservations tab, click Timeline.
  2. Click the pencil icon.
  3. Click Adjust Pacing
  4. Update the menu on the left, as needed.
  5. Click Apply changes

If experiences are excluded from global pacing, they will be displayed in a list. Click here to learn more about excluding experiences from pacing.

Pacing Legend 

  • Global - Total in-house and online covers that can start per 15 minutes.
  • Online - Total online covers that can start per 15 minutes.
  • Reset - Use this to reset pacing to match the Availability Planning Schedule. 
  • Close Online - Use this to change online pacing to ‘0’ for all times that day.
