Using mobile tickets and QR codes

Mobile tickets allow you to easily check in guests using Tock’s mobile, web-based scanner and QR code included in the guest’s confirmation email.

Before using the scanner, enable mobile tickets for the Experience.


To check in guests using the mobile scanner and QR code:

  1. Visit scanner.exploretock.com on any mobile device with a camera.
  2. Log in using a Tock account.
  3. Click the calendar icon at the top-right to go to the event date. 
  4. Click the scanner icon at the bottom-left. The device will ask you to allow scanner.exploretock.com to use your camera. Click Allow.
  5. Point the camera at the QR code included in the guest’s confirmation email. When successfully scanned, the booking details will turn green and automatically check in the guest.
  6. The Arrived status will update in the Guest list from the Reservations tab of your Tock Dashboard.

To check in guests using the party status:

  1. From the Reservations tab, click Timeline.
  2. Click on the booking in the Guest list.
  3. Use the date picker to go to the Experience date.
  4. Click the party status dropdown at the bottom, click Arrived.
