How to create a Floor plan

Rooms

  1. Navigate to Control Panel, and select Availability Planning
  2. Select the Schedule or Special Day you want to create a floor plan for and click Edit
    • You can either click on Floor plan at the very top, or select the pencil icon to edit the floor plan   Screen_Shot_2020-05-20_at_11.13.59_AM.png
      • If you’re an existing customer, you will have the option to Start with original Tock floor plan or to Create new floor plan.
        • If you start with your original Tock floor plan, this will automatically import all your original tables and rooms, and you can modify them as needed.
      • New customers will Create new floor plan.Floorplan.png
  3. To add a new room click on New room
    • Name your room and click Save
    • If you click on the 3 dots to the right of the room name, you’ll see options to Rename, Duplicate, or Delete that room                                                                                        Screen_Shot_2020-07-08_at_9.38.05_AM.png
  4. If you're an existing customer, you'll have the option to Import from original Tock floor plan, allowing you to import a single specific room as opposed to the entire original floor planScreen_Shot_2020-07-08_at_9.41.46_AM.png

Tables

  • To add tables to your room, click on the plus icon
    • You can add a single table or multiple tablesScreen_Shot_2020-08-19_at_1.37.17_PM.png
    • Adding a single table
      1. Give your table a Name/Number
      2. Enter the Minimum party size and Maximum party size that can be seated at that table
      3. Select the Section that table should be in

      4. Click Add table to add the table to your floor plan
    • Adding multiple tables
      1. Select the Section that table should be in
        • If you don’t have a section created, select Add new section and give your section a Name
      2. Select How many tables would you like to add
      3. Enter the Minimum party size and Maximum party size that can be seated at these tables
      4. Select the Size and Shape
      5. Select How would you like to name your tables
        • Alphanumeric - B1, B2, B3, etc.

  • To easily create more tables in the same section, select Duplicate Table
    • This will copy over all the existing information from your original table, and only prompt you to give your new table a different Name/Number                                          Screen_Shot_2020-05-20_at_11.21.37_AM.png
  • To edit a table you created, select the table from your floor plan
    • Make any necessary changes in the left panel
  • To edit multiple tables, select the pencil icon
    • Select at least 2 tables to edit
    • You can edit the size of these tables by updating the information in the left panel
    • You can drag multiple tables around once you have them selected
    • You can also delete the tables you have selected by clicking Delete tables
    • Once you’re done making changes in batch, select Done EditingScreen_Shot_2020-05-20_at_11.25.11_AM.png

Combinations

  1. You can create table combinations by clicking on the cube icon
    • Click Add Table Combination, and then select at least two tables from your floor plan that can be combined
    • Update the Minimum party size and Maximum party size for this combination of tables, and click Add combination

Layout

  1. To adjust the layout of your table, select the table you want to modify
    • You can change the size of your table between Sm / Md / Lg
    • You can change the shape of your table square, round, rectangular, or a semi-circle
    • You can rotate the table clockwise or counterclockwise
    • Select and drag a table to move it to a different position in your floor planScreen_Shot_2020-05-20_at_11.34.11_AM.png
