Once you’ve created your floor plan and services in a Schedule, you can edit each service using the Table Availability view or the Advanced Grid.
The Advanced Grid shows the Table Availability for a service similar to how it will be displayed in your Timeline view. Using the Advanced Grid gives you access to all the same settings as the Table Availability view, but with a few additional options:
- Add/Remove blocks to tables for single times or time ranges
- Configure advanced Pacing settings
- Configure the Unassigned Reservation section of this service
Accessing the Advanced Grid
- Navigate to Control Panel, and select Availability Planning
- Select Edit button on the Schedule
- Select Services in the top panel
- Click on the service that you want to edit
- Click the pencil icon next to Table Availability
- Check out this article for more information on how to configure Table Availability.
- Select the blue grid icon for the Advanced grid
Once you’re in the Advanced Grid, you will see each of your tables, the floor plan sections, and the bookable times for this service. If you have a large floor plan, you can expand and collapse sections as needed while you are working.

Adding and Editing unassigned reservation slots
Unassigned reservation slots are a great tool if you need the flexibility to add reservation slots without the constraint of specific table assignments. Unlike tables in your schedule that rely on flexible booking times, unassigned reservation slots will only be offered at a single time the slot is built. Please ensure you are not setting up unassigned slots in addition to tables with the same experience applied since this could cause overbooking. Set up unassigned reservation slots at the bottom of the Advanced grid.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the Advanced grid, to Unassigned reservation section
- Click on the + for the time that you want to create an unassigned slot
- Once created to can edit the slot:
- Assign change the experience
- Set table size, party minimum, and maximum
- Mark to make Communal
- Mark to accept Even Party Sizes Only
- Mark to Allow Stragglers
- Select to hold seats in the slot
- Remove the unassigned slot
- Save the Advanced grid once updates are completed
- Publish your schedule for updates to go live
