Once you have created services, you can configure the Pacing and Turn Times for each service.
Pacing Controls
The pacing features allows you to control the flow of guests in your business and help prevent your team from being overwhelmed during service.
Turning on and editing pacing limits
- Navigate to Control Panel, and select Availability Planning
- Select the Edit button on the Schedule and navigate to Services
- Click on the service you want to edit
- In the edit panel, scroll down to Pacing
- Click on the pencil icon to open the pacing panel
- Change the toggle in the upper right to Enabled
- In-house + online covers: total in-house and online covers that can start per 15 minutes
- Online covers: total online covers that can start per 15 minutes. This number is included in and cannot exceed the in-house and online covers.
Using advanced pacing limits
Advanced pacing overrides allow you to control the flow of guests in specific 15 minute time increments. Configuring advanced pacing will override basic pacing values.
- Click Set advanced pacing to open the advanced pacing grid
- Click the specific time you want to modify pacing for in the pacing row at the top of the grid
- You can customize the pacing values for just that time, while noting what the basic pacing values are for the rest of the schedule

- Times that have advanced pacing overrides configured will have a gray slash indicator
- You can always revert times back to defaults if needed
- Select Revert this time to default to reset that specific time back to the basic pacing value
- Select Revert all pacing times to default to reset the schedule back to basic pacing values
- In the edit service panel, you can see when you have pacing enabled and/or advanced pacing configured within each service
- You can quickly remove advanced pacing overrides by clicking on the pencil icon and selecting Remove advanced overrides within the pacing panel
Setting a maximum capacity
You can configure a maximum capacity that controls how many guests you can have seated in your business at any given time.
- Navigate to Control Panel, and select Availability
- Scroll down to Maximum capacity
- Toggle the switch to enabled
- Enter the maximum number of guests you can have seated in your business at any given time
- This setting can be configured in addition to basic pacing
Setting turn times
Turn times control how long a reservation is booked for and thus blocks additional reservations from being made on the same table. Turns are displayed visually on your Timeline and in your Schedule. They are configured per party size for a specific time range and can be adjusted for each experience you offer.
- Navigate to Control Panel, and select Availability Planning
- Select the schedule that you want to Edit and navigate to Services
- Click on the service you want to edit
- In the edit panel, scroll down to Turn Times
- Click on the pencil icon to open the turn times panel
- Configure turn times in 15 minute increments from 1 person to 12 or more people.
- If you don't offer certain party sizes, you can leave the default values

Using advanced turn times
If your experiences require different turn times, you can control those here. For example, a tasting menu may have different turn times than your regular reservation. In addition, you can configure different turn times for different time ranges within your service.
- You can configure advanced turn times by experience or by time range by selecting Edit advanced turn times
- To configure turn times by Experience, select the experience you want to modify in the drop down and then click Add experience
- This will allow you to configure turn times for that specific experience
- You can configure different turn times for each experience you have
- You can also configure different turn times for a particular time range for an experience
- Select Add new range at the bottom of the experience you want to modify
- Select the Start time and End time you want for that experience
- You can quickly see which experiences you have turn times customized by time range for when that experience is collapsed
- To configure turn times by time range across all experiences, select Turns by time range and then click Add time range
- You can configure different turn times for a specific time range or ranges within that service

- You can see when you have advanced turn times configured within the edit service panel
- To remove advanced turn times, select Edit advanced turn times
- Click on the trash icon next to the advanced setting you want to remove
