Note: Rescheduling a reservation is slightly different for businesses using either Availability Planning or Blueprints style reservation management.
In this article, we'll review how to reschedule a guest's reservation from your Dashboard.
Rescheduling for Availability Planning reservation management
If your business uses Availability Planning style reservation management, follow these steps to reschedule a booking:
- From the Timeline or Service tab, click on the booking in the Guest list.
- In the reservation panel, click Edit.
- On the next screen, select a new date from the Date dropdown menu, if needed.
- In the Time field, select a new time from time dropdown, if needed.
- Click Continue to Payment, then click Update to finalize.
Rescheduling for Blueprints reservation management
If your business uses Blueprints style reservation management, follow these steps to reschedule a booking:
- From the Timeline or Service tab, click on the booking in the Guest list.
- In the reservation panel, click the down arrow next to Edit.
- Click Reschedule.
- To reschedule to a different day, click the date picker at the top of the page.
- Click on an available slot.
- Click the blue Reschedule button to complete the action.
- On the next page, choose whether you want to keep the original time slot.
To reschedule to a time and date that has no available slots, click the + icon to create a new slot, then follow the steps listed above.
