To maximize your availability and minimize overbookings, we’ve optimized the way reservations are shuffled.
Schedule updates that will cause reservations to shuffle
In general, any time you make a change to your Schedule, reservations will shuffle. Here is a list of Schedule updates that will cause reservations to shuffle:

Adding a table block or expanding an existing table block.

Reducing your service hours.

Reducing a table size.

Deleting or deactivating a table.

Updating a table combination.

Increasing your turn times.

Removing or editing an unassigned reservation slot.

Changing the experience applied to a table.
If you would like to keep a specific reservation from being shuffled and potentially changing table assignments, you can pin it to a table.
Pinning a reservation to a table assignment
To pin a reservation to a table:
- Click either the Timeline or Service tab.
- From the Guests sub-tab, click on the reservation you'd like to pin.
- Click the pin icon.
Shuffling reservations manually in Timeline
To shuffle reservations manually:
- Click the Timeline tab.
- In the top-right corner, click the shuffle button icon.
- To ensure table assignments don't shuffle, pin a booked reservation to a specific table.
