To offer additional options once a guest selects a menu item, create a modifier for that Add-on.

Creating modifiers

To create a modifier:

  1. From the Control Panel tab, click To Go.
  2. Click on the To Go offering, then click Add-ons tab.
  3. Once you've created an Add-on group and Add-on within that group, click Create modifier.
  4. Add a Modifier name and enter the Minimum required and Maximum allowed selections for a guest.
  5. Check the box to require All guests must select the same option.
  6. Enter your first option name and associated price, then click Add another option, if necessary
  7. Check the box to require This option costs additional money. Enter the price and sales tax category, if necessary.
  8. Click Create.

Making an order with modifiers from the dashboard

To modifier an order from the Dashboard:

  1. From the Reservations tab, click Timeline.
  2. Click directly on an available tile, then click Book reservation or click the blue Book reservation button in the top-right.
  3. Select the date, party size, To Go offering, and time you’d like to book.
  4. Enter the guest's name, email, or phone number to search for an existing guest profile, or click + Add to create a new guest profile.
  5. Click Continue.
  6. Click the Add next to the desired Add-on.
  7. Click + to add the modifier to the order.
  8. Adjust quantities as desired, then click Add.
  9. To remove an Add-on that includes modifiers, click View order in the top-right, then click Remove.

How modifiers appear to your guests

Once a guest selects an Add-on with modification options, a pop-up window gives required or optional modifications to choose.
