To change the event time or date for an event that already has purchased tickets, you will need to follow these steps:

  1. Toggle off the Event visibility before beginning.
  2. Add a new time/date directly to the Event.
  3. Reschedule purchased tickets to the new time/date.
  4. Remove the original event time slot after all tickets are rescheduled.
  5. Lastly, toggle visibility on for the Event.

Creating a new event slot

To add new time to an event schedule:

  1. From the Control Panel tab, click Events.
  2. Click the event that needs to be rescheduled.
  3. From the Visibility and Access tab, turn off event visibility to prevent further bookings while completing the updates.
  4. Click the Schedule tab.
  5. To adjust the time of the event only, select Add time.
  6. To add a new date, select More than once, Custom from the dropdown menu, and Add another date.
  7. Click Save.

Rescheduling tickets to new event slot

To reschedule sold tickets to the new event slot:

  1. From the Reservations tab, click Timeline
  2. Click the guest's ticket in the Guests list.
  3. Click the down arrow next to the Edit button, select Reschedule.

  4. Use the date picker to go to the new event date, if needed.
  5. Click the new event time slot directly on Timeline.
    • Avoid deleting the original date and time at this step. This will be done after existing reservations are rescheduled.
  6. Click Reschedule at the top-right.

  7. Uncheck Keep original time-slot.
  8. Confirm reschedule details, click Reschedule.
  9. Repeat for each booking as needed.

Removing the original event slot

To remove an event slot: 

  1. From Timeline, click directly on the original event slot.
  2. Click Remove.

Turning on visibility for the Event

Adjusting event visibility while making updates to events will ensure guests are unable to make reservations until updates are completed. For more information, view Update Event Visibility to toggle visibility on for the Event.
