Below are some frequently asked questions when using Blueprints reservation management.

How can I extend reservation availability on my Timeline?
Applying your Blueprint puts reservation availability on your Timeline. Click Apply all to dates in the top-right within the Blueprints tab.
I updated my Experience pricing. Why hasn’t my business page updated?
- For customers using Add-ons: Any time you edit pricing, and create or remove Add-ons within an Experience, you’ll need to reapply your Blueprint to update availability on your business page.
- For customers using Menus: Updated Items will appear immediately on your business page once saved.
Why aren't all slots showing in my Timeline after I reapplied my Blueprint?
When a Blueprint is applied to a date with booked reservations, the system does its best to reconcile the Blueprint’s inventory with what is already booked, based on covers and number of slots. Review and adjust slots if needed on the Timeline after reapplying a Blueprint; especially on dates with existing reservations as manual adjustments may be needed.
How can I copy a Blueprint?
To copy a Blueprint:
- From the Control Panel tab, click Blueprints.
- Click the Blueprint you’d like to copy.
- Click Show details in the top-right, then click Duplicate blueprint.
- Click Yes, Continue.
How can I adjust the Blueprint’s name?
Businesses name their own Blueprints, but Tock suggests a recommended format so dashboard users have insight into when the Blueprint was applied. We suggest the business include the following in the title of their Blueprints:
- Date range applied.
- Days of the week applied.
- Service type.
- Any other important distinction that team members may need to know at a glance.
To adjust the name of a Blueprint:
- From the Control Panel tab, click Blueprints.
- Click the Blueprint you'd like to rename.
- Click Show details in the top-right, then update the name within the Blueprint Name field.
- Click Save changes.
How can I apply a Blueprint for one day?
To apply the Blueprint for one day, click the specific date twice for the range you'd like to apply the Blueprint.
How can I apply multiple Blueprints per day?
A single Blueprint can contain multiple Experiences, but only one Blueprint can be applied per service, per day. This means if a ‘Dinner’ Blueprint was applied to a date, applying another ‘Dinner’ Blueprint will overwrite any availability from the first Blueprint.
Multiple services can be applied on the same day. For example, a Lunch and Dinner Blueprint can be applied on the same day and coexist.
Remove Available Reservations
When can I use the Remove Available Reservations button within the Blueprints tab?
We suggest removing all available reservations in the following instances:
- Multiple changes are made to a date manually on the Timeline (e.g., manual holds, existing reservations, changed parameters of tiles manually).
- Communal tiles with existing reservations.
- Adding a Closed Day.
- To erase mistakenly applied inventory.
Review and adjust slots if needed on the Timeline after reapplying a Blueprint.
Availability
How can I release reservations to only be available for guests to book online for a specific timeframe?
Reservations up until the date selected will be bookable by your guests online. If a release date is set beyond the dates of an applied Blueprint, no online availability will show for those dates. Remember to apply the Blueprint far enough into the future.
Releasing Reservation Availability for Blueprints provides additional information relating to online availability.
