Note: This feature is only supported for businesses using Blueprints reservation management.

There are several options to adjust daily reservation inventory from your Timeline. These actions include:

Note: Edits made directly on Timeline will be overwritten when applying a Blueprint. After applying a Blueprint, re-do Timeline edits as needed.

Adding new reservation slots on Timeline

Add new reservation slots on the Timeline to book reservations outside of your pre-set inventory. This feature allows you to add one or multiple new slots at once. 

Slots can be set up to allow communal reservations. View Adding a Communal Table to learn more. 

To add new slots on Timeline

  1. From the Reservations tab, click Timeline.
  2. Click the + icon for the time you want to add a slot.
  3. Adjust the table size (total number of tickets), minimum party size, and maximum party size.
  4. If desired, check the boxes for Communal, Allow stragglers, and/or Even party sizes only.
  5. Select an offering from the dropdown.
  6. Choose an Availability Status: Available or Held.
  7. If creating more than one slot, set the total number of slots to create. 
  8. Click Create table.

Editing the price of reservation slots on Timeline

This feature allows you to update the price of individual slots for deposit or prepaid experiences. This could be helpful when making a VIP reservation with a different price. 

To edit pricing of unassigned slots on Timeline

  1. From the Reservations tab, click Timeline.
  2. Click the pencil icon.
  3. Click Edit prices.
  4. Enter a new price in the box at the top of the Timeline. 
  5. Select the Experience or Event slots to update. 
  6. Click Apply price changes
  7. Click Update price. 

Placing holds on Timeline

The holding feature allows you to withhold certain reservation inventory from being bookable online, or via the blue Book reservation button. This may be helpful if you have a reservation you need to book, but cannot immediately complete the booking. 

To hold a slot on Timeline 

  1. From the Reservations tab, click Timeline.
  2. Click the slot you want to update.
  3. Click Modify, then click Hold.
  4. For communal slots, select the number of tickets to hold, then click Update hold
  5. For non-communal slots, select one of these options: 
    • General hold, then click Hold Reservation
    • Hold for guest, enter guest information, then click Hold reservation for guest.  

Removing holds on Timeline

Use the Remove holds feature to quickly clear holds from a slot.

To remove holds on an unassigned slot on Timeline

  1. From the Reservations tab, click Timeline.
  2. Click the slot you want to update.
  3. For communal slots, click Modify, then click Hold/unhold. Select the number of tickets to hold, then click Update hold.
  4. For non-communal slots, click Modify, then click Remove Hold.

Removing reservation slots on Timeline

Remove individual slots or multiple slots at once. This is helpful if you need to close for the day and need to remove all reservation inventory. 

To remove reservations on Timeline

  1. From the Reservations tab, click Timeline.
  2. Click the pencil icon.
  3. Click Remove reservations. 
  4. Select the slots to remove or click Select all.
  5. Click Apply remove.
