Note: This feature is only supported for businesses using Blueprints reservation management.

Blueprints allow you to determine the times to offer reservations, giving you control of the flow of guests.

If you’re using Availability Planning style reservation management, view the Availability Planning articles to set up your Schedule.

Getting started building a Blueprint

Before creating a Blueprint, ensure you've added your tables, sections, and rooms as well as reservation hours and turn times. To start building your Blueprint:

  1. From the Control Panel tab, click Blueprint.
  2. Click the blue Add Blueprint button.
  3. Name the Blueprint and click Breakfast, Brunch, Lunch, or Dinner to set the service.
  4. Click Create Blueprint.

Adding reservation slots

To add reservations to your Blueprint, add reservations slots to tables or within the Unassigned Reservations section.

Adding reservation slots to tables

Adding reservation slots to tables within the Blueprint helps to visually plot out availability. The turn times appear as a visual aid to help plan reservations. Booked reservations will not automatically pre-assign to the tables.

To add a reservation slot to a table:

  1. Within the Blueprint, select the Experience from the Add Selected Experience to Times and Tables drop-down.
  2. Find the table and time to add a reservation slot.
  3. Click the + button.

Reservation slots use turn times and expand horizontally to fill that turn. Each reservation slot includes a default minimum and maximum party size determined by the size of the table.

Adding Unassigned Reservations

Reservation slots added to the Unassigned Reservations section at the bottom of the Blueprint will have no table assigned or turn time shown when booked.

To add a reservation slot to Unassigned Reservations:

  1. Within the Blueprint, select Experience from the Add Selected Experience to Times and Tables drop-down.
  2. Find the Unassigned reservation section at the bottom of the Blueprint.
  3. Click the + button.

Editing reservations

To make changes to a reservation slot in a Blueprint:

  1. Click the reservation slot.
  2. In the new window, edit the attributes:
    • Experience
    • Make Communal
    • Minimum and maximum party size
    • Mark as held
  3. Click Done.

To move a reservation slot to another time on the same table, click and drag the reservation slot to the new time.

To move a reservation slot to another table, delete the existing reservation and create a new slot.

Editing prices

Deposit or prepaid reservations use the default price within the Pricing tab of the Experience.

To edit these prices for individual reservations:

  1. Click the pencil icon at the top.
  2. Click Edit prices.
  3. Enter new prices for each reservation.
  4. Click Edit Prices.
  5. Click Apply Edits.

  1. Click the pencil icon at the top.
  2. Select the action from the drop-down.
  3. Click the reservations to edit or remove.
