Note: This article discusses both Blueprint and Availability Planning styles of reservation management.

An Experience is a bookable reservation offering on Tock. Experiences are generally the best option if your offering will be available on a consistent basis, for a prolonged period of time, or has multiple seatings per day. Experiences can be free for guests to book, or can require a deposit, prepayment, or credit card information to book.

Adding a New Experience 

  1. From the Control Panel tab, click Experiences.
  2. Click Add experience in the top-right.
  3. Select the type of reservation you'd like to create:
  4. Choose an Experience color. This helps differentiate experiences while managing your Blueprints or Schedules.
  5. Enter a name, a short code, and add a description. 
  6. Add a price (if applicable), then select tax and service charge preferences.
  7. Select the service(s) associated with this reservation (*Note: this step is for businesses using Blueprint-style reservation management).
    • Selecting the service within the Experience allows you to control which Experience(s) can be used in Blueprints with the same service selected.
