Inventory controls manage how much of an item is in stock. Configure stock limits for each item in Tock. This stock limit will apply across all Menus where an item exists, allowing inventory control for a single item all in one place.

To add Inventory controls:

  1. From the Control Panel tab, click Menus and Items.
  2. Click the Item Name, then click the pencil icon to the right of Inventory controls
  3. Switch the toggle to enable Inventory controls.
  4. Select the limit type.
    • Limit by quantity in stock - Once the item reaches zero, it will display as "Sold out”.
    • Limit by quantity per day - once the limit has been met in a single day, guests will not be able to purchase it.
    • Limit by quantity per hour - once the limit has been met in a single hour,  guests will not be able to purchase it.
    • Limit by quantity per 15 minutes - once the limit has been met in a 15 minute time increment, guests will not be able to purchase it.
  5. Enter Stock limit.
  6. Click the arrow in the top-right corner to close the Inventory controls detail view.
  7. Click Save.
Note: Clicking the Save button will reset the limit, even if nothing was changed.
