Customize Tock's financial reports by downloading a CSV file to your device, then sorting and filtering to suit your needs. The Transactions report (for sales) and the Daily Details report (for income) will often work best for customization as these are the most comprehensive.

Transactions report

The Transactions report is a comprehensive report of sales, or purchases, that occurred during the date(s) selected. Each transaction (booked, canceled, rescheduled, transferred, or refunded) is listed as a separate line item within this report. Columns include details about the reservation, comps, taxes, service charges, fees, payment processor information, payout information, and booking method.

The Transactions report can be downloaded, then sorted and filtered, to find additional information.

For example, use the Transactions report to review online purchases processed in the past week, or the amount you’ve processed in refunds.

  1. From the Reports tab, click Transactions.
  2. Using the date picker, choose a date or date range for when the transactions took place.
  3. Click the download icon to export a CSV file.
  4. In your downloaded file, sum the appropriate column (e.g., Reservation method or Payment refunded).

Daily Details report

The Daily Details report is a comprehensive report for realized income relating to the date(s) of service selected in the report. It breaks down payments, including comps, taxes, service charges, fees, payment processor information, payout information, and booking method as a result of the guest’s visit.

The Daily Details report can be downloaded, then sorted and filtered, to calculate additional information about your payouts.

For instance, if you need to see how much gratuity was collected from an event, or how many discount codes were redeemed, follow these steps:

  1. From the Reports tab, click Daily Details.
  2. Using the date picker, select a date or date range of the offering(s).
  3. Click the download icon to export a CSV file.
  4. In your downloaded file, sum the appropriate column (e.g., Taxes or Discounts).
Note: Taxes and Service Charges are calculated on the Subtotal of the reservation, whereas Tock Fees and Processing Fees are calculated on the Gross Payment Collected.

The Daily Details report can be used to calculate the total payout amount from an event by summing the Net payment received column.
