Pickup and delivery packages are typically meant to serve multiple guests. In this article, we offer best practices for a smooth guest experience when offering To Go packages.

Consider creating multiple offerings

Eliminate confusion by creating different offerings for different party sizes. For example, "Dinner for Two" and "Dinner for Four."

Specify the number of guests your package serves

Customize your offering's title, description, and confirmation message to convey the number of guests your package serves. Visit exploretock.com to see examples from other Tock partners.

Set order restrictions

When creating offerings that serve multiple guests, consider the total number of packages your team can accommodate, instead of the total number of guests. For example, if your offering serves four guests, set the minimum and maximum guest(s) per order to both be four. Configure order restrictions from the Inventory setup tab of your To Go offering.

Set order quantities

The Order Quantities setting affects the verbiage that guests see at checkout, and manages expectations when guests search for offerings. Configure order quantities from the Inventory setup tab of your To Go offering.
