Activ8 Commerce is a complete multi-channel sales system used by wineries and distilleries. Integrating with Activ8 provides:
- The ability to offer exclusive Tock reservations, tastings, and discounts based on Activ8 club membership or guest attributes.
- The ability to view all Tock reservations in Activ8 Cloud and POS dashboard.
- Increased guest insights via data sharing across systems.
Setup
Initial Connection
To connect your Activ8 system to your Tock account, an Account Owner will need to send an email requesting the integration be connected. Send this email to both of the following email addresses:
Within 48-72 business hours, Activ8 Commerce will respond with an update on the connection status.
Tock Configuration
Once the integration has been connected and synced, complete the integration’s setup from your Tock dashboard.
- Configure Tock guest tags to match the Group Labels in Activ8 Commerce. Include tags you want to use for club member discounts or other purposes in Tock.
- Create all desired Guest Groups.
- Within each Experience, set visibility and discounts accessible to guests based on these created groups.
Note: As group updates are made to guests in Activ8, tags will be added and removed automatically within Tock, including inclusion and exclusion from these tag-based guest groups.
FAQ
How does the integration work?
- When a reservation is booked (or updated) in Tock, reservation details and associated guest data will push into Activ8 Cloud and POS in real-time.
- When club member details are updated in your Activ8 system, the associated guest’s Tock tags will be updated in real-time.
- If necessary, you can also manually trigger a batch guest update from Activ8 to Tock.
Is it possible to modify a Tock reservation from inside Activ8?
- No, reservation details are available in your Activ8 system as read-only. However, if there is a balance due for the guest visit, you can process payment for the order within Activ8.
- A link is available in the Activ8 POS that will open the reservation in your Tock dashboard, where it can be modified. Changes will then sync back to your Activ8 system.
How will walk-ins work?
- Tock walk-ins without an associated email address will be attached to a default Activ8 Walk-In customer. The Activ8 order information will include the guest’s first and last name, if present in Tock.
- Tock guests with an associated email address will be added to your Activ8 system, if a matching Activ8 customer record is not found.
- Walk-in reservations can be edited in Activ8 Cloud and POS, including addition of new items. Payments for the walk-in order can be processed in Activ8.
- If party status or guest count changes to the walk-in within Tock, those updates will display in the Activ8 walk-in order.
