Using the Server Panel

Adding servers

To add a new server:

1. From the Reservations tab, click Service.
2. Click the Servers button above the floor plan.
3. Click Add from the left panel.                                                                   
4. Enter a name and assign the server a color.

Assigning servers

To assign servers to tables in Service:

1. From the Reservations tab, click Service.
2. Click the Servers button above the floor plan.
3. Click on the server.
4. Select the tables they are assigned to.
5. Click the blue Done button in the left panel when finished.

Server Rotation

To view server information and rotation:

1. From the Reservations tab, click Service.
2. Click the Servers button above the floor plan.
3. View server information, which is automatically updated based on Service Settings.
   • Section full: The server section is full. 
4. To edit preferences on your device, view the Service Settings section.
5. To exclude a server from rotation, click on a server and toggle on Exclude from server rotation.
   
   
6. To view similar server information, see the avatars next to Servers. 

• In the example above, you’ll see that Jessica, Issac (section full), Will, Beth (section full), Diana and James all reflect the information in the server panel, which automatically rotates based on the last seating.

Server Settings

To update server settings:

1. From the Reservations tab, click Service.
2. Click the Settings icon at the top-right, then scroll down to the Servers section.
3. Use the Show preassigned cover counts toggle to show preassigned covers.
   •  Off (default setting): 
     • Seated: Total number of covers currently being serviced.
     • Total: Total number of covers currently being serviced, plus the total number of covers already serviced. 
   • On:
     • Pre: Number of preassigned covers
     • Seated: Total number of covers currently being serviced.
     • Total: Total number of covers currently being serviced, plus the total number of covers already serviced, plus preassigned covers.
4. Use the Rotate servers toggle to automatically rotate servers.
   • If on, select from the Server rotation order dropdown:
     • Last seating( default setting).
     • Total covers.
     • Current covers.
   • If off, servers will not rotate and assigned servers will be ordered alphabetically.
5. Click X in the top-right corner to close the Settings view.
