There are a few ways to add and manage walk-ins during service.

Adding a walk-in to the waitlist

To add a walk-in to the waitlist:

  1. From the Reservations tab, click Timeline or Service. 
  2. From the Guests sub-tab in the left panel, click the walk-in icon in the bottom-left. 
  3. Click the + icon at the top next to Waitlist (Walk-ins).
  4. Enter the guest's name, email, or phone number to search for an existing guest profile, or to create a new one.

      5. Enter the party size, optional quoted wait time, optional change to turn time, and any notes.

      6. Click the blue Add to waitlist button when finished.

Seating a walk-in from the walk-in list

To seat a walk-in from the walk-in list:

  1. From the Reservations tab, click Service. 
  2. From the Guests sub-tab in the left panel, click the walk-in icon in the bottom-left.
  3. Click the cross hair cursor for the party you'd like to seat, drag the party to a table, then release. 

Adding and seating a walk-in directly on a table

To add and seat a walk-in directly on a table:

  1. From the Reservations tab, click Service. 
  2. Click on the available table you'd like to seat, then click Seat walk-in in the bottom-left. You can also right-click on the table, or on touch devices, long press on the table and click the Walk-in button.
  3. Enter the guest's name, email, or phone number to search for an existing guest profile or to create a new one.
  4. Enter the party size, optional quoted wait time, and any notes.
  5. Click the blue Seat walk-in button to finish.

Removing a walk-in from the walk-in list

To remove a walk-in from the walk-in list:

  1. From the Reservations tab, click Timeline or Service. 
  2. From the Guests sub-tab in the left panel, click the walk-in icon in the bottom-left. 
  3. Click on the party you'd like to remove.
  4. Click the Cancel walk-in button, denoted by a red x.

Removing a walk-in cannot be undone. If this is done accidentally, the walk-in guest will need to be re-added.
